I like the children

I want to have some of these print in my kids room. Yes their collective room. They love being together. I can't see us separating them boys and girls yet. Phoebe would be too lonely. And the boy would miss her so. It is very cute to see them so stuck on each other. And this is really fun for me. For more than one reason. But one of those reasons being that I love the idea of the gender neutral nursery. Full of things all children love.
Here is the border on the sweater with out the button holes. Even though the button holes are complete. I"m getting so close I can smell it.

we should be getting stairs
We did a little bit of a house renovation this past fall. And even though we aren't done, I'm putting together some ideas for how to decorate this newly configured space. We went up, so we will gain a stairway. (We don't currently have one of these) I think I'd like for it to look something like this.

living spaces

I would love this chair in my living room.
It's been almost two years since we moved in and the whole place is sadly unfinished. I am highly motivated to get things together in here though. Decorating is not my high point, so this is going to take some serious work. I really like a natural rug on the floor. This pillow is my real favorite. Also the orange blanket is just orangy.

fun for the babies

We like to eat out when we can. I just can't make Thai food as good as I'd like. Not to mention, I love leaving my dishes on the table and never having to think about them again. But sometimes waiting for food to arrive is unbearable for my little ones. iPhones come in very handy, with apps like paper town friends, and speak piggy! But, I think I'd like to get some games like this.

happy weekend
I know, I already talked about my canning fun, but I think they are very pleasant to look at. Here are some of my favorites this week.
I really do like sesame street.
We loved watching this story unfold live.
I stopped using plastic produce bags a long time ago. But these seems to be a much better option than my apples and squash rolling around on the belt.
I am certain this magazine will be nice to read. ( I'm still not over Domino's crash)

I just found this new Australian home magazine Adore today. I really like the clean modern lines.
And the color? Oh the color. :) I always end up choosing neutrals. (and loving them) but its nice to look at this much vibrant color. I especially love the little girls nursery. Go check it out!

We went to a local flower picking garden last week. it was vast and beautiful. Besides, the dead mice that the farm owners cat had dropped in various rows and walk ways.
We all love being outdoors and my love of flower goes way deep. It was a treat for everyone involved. I picked this bouquet that made me keep saying moulin rouge. I think that actually may have been the name of these sunflowers.
I am super pumped about Anthology Magazine. You know, since the death of all my other favorites: Blueprint, Domino, and Cookie.

I think everyone should go and subscribe to them right now. Lets never have another magazine kick the bucket!

modern playhouse

If this isn't one of the best playhouse designs I've ever seen.
I think this can go on the list of things to make for our children. Perhaps one for each room even?
