not quite yet

I haven't reached my due date yet... but since Sam came nine days early I can't help but wonder what this baby is waiting for. I'm knitting a scarf for him. (no I don't know that it is a boy or girl I'm just going with him for the sake of avoiding it) And looking at wonderful fabrics at purlsoho.com. I'd love to make these fingerless gloves next. The pattern is on the purlbee. I'm sure there is plenty winter left to enjoy with them. And this striped romper from the little fashion gallery is so cute. I might want to make an extra tote to carry the childrens things in it. Some of these fabrics could come in handy there. But I think I might need to re-figure my crafting time.

  1. You better hurry up and have this baby Grace, I can't wait to see 'him'!

The gloves, the fabric and the little stripey outfit are all perfect.

(I always used to say 'him' too, for exactly the same reason as you - makes them sound like the real little person they are, not some 'it')

  2. Oh I love those fabrics, so beautiful!!! I hope you don't have to wait too much longer. All three of mine were very different. Abi was two weeks late, Eddrick was one week late, and Genn was one week early. Who knows how this one will be, but praying for you whenever this baby wants to come. Just enjoy a little extra special time with Sam right now. Hugs!

  10. Seeing those fingerless gloves makes me want to pick up knitting. Though I'm still trying to master crocheting... so maybe I'll save knitting for some other time :)
