cloth diapering

Check these out!
We love cloth over here. But the coming of this new baby has got me researching. Again. We use these. And they work fine. But I'm like the idea of switching to all natural fibers. I think they might come up fresher for a longer period of time. Anybody have any experience with wool and cotton?

  1. Kudos on the cloth diapering! I'm not sure I've got what it takes to do it, but I'm always amazed when I find someone who does!

  3. wool is wonderful...but not so great for a newborn because they tend to get dirty fast (think newborn diaper blowouts) and since you have to hand wash the woolies and air dry them...this would be a pain. My advice is to save the wool for 3 months plus. I actually love unbleached indian prefolds. They are super soft and do wash up great. However, I don't like the wet feeling they impart to baby. I usually use a little fleece liner to wick away wetness- but there again the fleece is synthetic. Sorry, I'm no help at all.
