I finally got my hands on some
kefir grains. So I been cultivating some homemade probiotic goodness. Today was the first time I tried a smoothie using the kefir I've been storing up in the fridge and it was tasty and delicious. I'll be keeping these ingredients on hand from now on.
1 banana
1 cup of frozen blueberries
1/2 cup of orange juice
2 table spoons of blue agave nectar
2 cups of kefir
blend up until its smooth.
I've never heard of kefir before - I'll have to check it out! The smoothie looks delish :)
