nursery inspiration

As I get close to finializing ideas for a nursery redo, I feel the need to hold off. We are contemplating finishing our attic space. This could mean two new bedrooms. If this were possible, I'd be able to set up a girls room and a boys room completely separate from each other. I could then be gender specific and more, and more doors open. All kinds of new fun can be had.
What types of idea do you like, or have you used?

  1. You know... I want to do a whole lot with Ashlynn's room. But the kid is... hard on things, to put it lightly. I've decided to hold off with her for two more years.

The Bud's room.... since I can't paint walls, I hung the quilt I made to add more punch and make the room more dynamic. I made matching curtains for the window. We have small bedrooms, so I try to keep at least 2/3 of the furniture white and simply rely on spreading small punches of color throughout the room. :)

I love the idea of hardwood floors. Just seems more kid friendly.

  3. Grace, I feel I should mention that if you value your arches those shoes might not be awesome. :) I have no arches (eh, flat feet, good thing I'm not joining the military!) so they work for me, but just FYI. But they are soo comfy for my feets.
