leather florets

I'll never get bored of stripes. Or leather, or flowers. And yes, those are jeggings. You know they are comfortable.

We are going to hear some live music at our local coffee shop tonight, and Phoebe is having a tiny little birthday party tomorrow morning. Other than that we will be relaxing at home. Trying out our new blue-ray DVD player and TV combo. (yes, we are so very cool) What do you have planned for the weekend?

for a partially snowy day

We have a first dental appointments today. But luckily we are excited about it. And hopefully when we get back, we will still feel the same way about his establishment.

We got a bunch of rain last night, that is washing away the snow mess. This is good because a new down fall is on it's way. But we still like the snow. Which is important, because we'll probably have it until April. Serious.

Also one day I need to go here.

We made it around to taking a tree down and the pine needles proved to be almost as fun as Christmas itself. Doesn't everyone have this many pine needles to clean up after Christmas? It's not just me right?

I think that I might need to own this sweater. Yes it is a knitting pattern, but I don't think I have this necessary skillz.

1. Pulled beef sandwiches with cole slaw( we had this at a friends house last week and my mouth won't stop watering)
2. Minestrone
3. Thai Panang curry
4. Welsh rarebit burgers
5. Roasted chicken and vegetables
6. Spaghetti and meatballs


Yesterday Phoebe turned three. We have so much fun with you honey. Thank you for bringing us the joys of princesses, pink, and all things little girl.

still a bit early

I know, but I can't helping thinking about what I'd like to be wearing come spring. When I can walk around my beautiful town with my kidlets in the stroller.

ballet class

We signed Phoebe up for Ballet classes and I couldn't be more excited. Well she is excited too of course. And that makes it even more fun. Makes me want to take lessons again too. Or maybe I'll just do this? It would be nice to look like that no?

Our Christmas morning. Yes we are still celebrating Christmas. We keep our decorations up, and continue the joyousness for the full 12 days. Why? Because, 1 day is not long enough. And its just way to much fun.

I found this cute pattern for a girls hooded jacket that I would love to see on Phoebe this fall. I have yet to ever complete a sweater. It would be nice if this were the first. I'm almost done with the cabled section and I'm still motivated! Wish me luck.

1. Swiss cheese burgers on english muffin toast sweet potatoes fries and this salad.
2. Pork pad see ew
3. Chicken noodle soup with fresh homemade noodles.
4. Classic pot roast with garlic thyme gravy
5. Manhattan clam chowder
6. Chicken Parmesan

Number 4 is from an awesome cookbook I got from my mother in law, full of just crock pot recipes. And not one of them looks boring! Also here is a picture of my replica of our fantastic dessert out. Definitely not as good as the original.

Did I mention my baby got up at 7 today instead of 5:30? :)
